House System

The House system occupies a prominent position in the field of co-curricular activities. The school has been divided into three Houses: Tagore House, Gandhi House, and Subash House. Each student is allotted a particular house at the time of admission and continues to stay in the same house till the time he/she is in the school. To involve the students in the smooth running of the school, each house is put on duty in turn for a week. It helps the students to learn great ideas of self discipline, leadership and belongingness to the institution.

Parents Teachers Meet

The school periodically organizes parent-teacher meetings, where discussion may be arranged on child education and child welfare.

Career Counseling Cell

A separate career and counseling cell has been established in the school. All senior Lecturers of Science Faculty are members of this cell. The school arranges all information pertaining to different courses of studies and directs the students to pursue further studies.

Health Camps

Various health activities and talks are arranged including immunization, Yoga classes, quiz-competition on health topics and awareness about fatal diseases.

Educational Tours

Educational tours are arranged for students who score 65% and more marks in Term Exams to various places every year, preferably after completion of the entire syllabus.

Games/Sports

The school has highly skilled PET and DPE who continuously prepare students for District, State, and National Level competitions in games/sports.
